Another one of those days where we worked entirely too late and the only time I had my camera and felt inclined to use it was in the car driving home.

Jenny called and said, "Quick! Go outside and look at the moon!" (and I have been waiting and waiting for a picture where I can have my text sing, "See the moon slink down in the sky, darling!") I went out to our back yard and there was no moon. It was behind this mountain. Instead of waiting an hour or so for it to rise, I decided to just take a picture of the moonless sky and go to bed. I haven't taken a night sky picture since almost a year ago when I got Lasik. It's really hard to take pictures with plastic things taped to your eyes.

View from the front porch at Green River. It all would have been perfect if it had been warmer than 40 degrees.

I went with mom's office to the Thanksgiving Point gardens. They were so beautiful! I posted more pictures on my other blog, but I liked this one just because of the mountains in the background. Utah has some gorgeous mountains.

I was trying to get a picture of the Pleiades. It didn't turn out as well as I'd have hoped, but it looks cool.

It will probably snow before that mountain ever looks like it's fall.

"Ye valleys fair and snow capped mountains"

Taken from the freeway on the drive home. Sometimes Utah can be green.

In case anyone wonders what the view off our back deck is at 8 o'clock in the morning, you have this. Some day I'm going to take a picture of that deck so everyone knows the peril involved in taking this picture.
